Rick’s Mitsubishi Shogun
My beloved truck is used as a tow vehicle for the racer. It’s a 3.2 DID SWB Auto and likes to drink diesel (although pulling a train weight of 4,500 KG could be an excuse).
It also copes with 60 speed humps a day, taken at speed of course and has proved to be very reliable.
After 25,000 miles it is averaging 22 mpg so I’ve fitted a tuning box to see if this improves things.
So far it looks like it has with consumption on a run without the trailer up to 31 mpg & the pulling power increased dramatically (it now pulls up hills without changing down, or dropping below 60 ish)
